Thinking like big boys now...

It hasn't happened yet but it's coming.
Ben was 2 years old in March.
He is still sleeping in his baby bed.
He has yet to crawl out and we haven't converted to a toddler bed either.

I not sure how long he will sleep in a toddler bed before we move him into Eli's room.
I have longed for them to share a room.
I'm not really sure why, I guess that's what I envision brothers doing.
Bunk beds, staying up late, hanging out
ya know
Being Brothers.

I also cant wait to have a spare room to have some space of my own.
We will change Ben's room into a media/craft space! YAY!!

Only 80 something days left till football!!

I went to the gym today...but I didnt want to

So I have been working out for the last week.
I only missed one day.
That day I ate a brownie.
I felt like a fattie.
I need to go to the gym.
I don't want to BUT
I need to go to the gym.

My sister is getting married..and I need to calm down.

Yes, that's right. I need to calm down.
My sister got engaged on a random Wednesday night.
She showed up at my house.
Knocked on my down, flashed her ring in the window.
I screamed and hung up on my aunt who I was on the phone with.

I have been wanting to plan,plan,plan ever since.

HER- not so much.
She is SO calm.
They sort of  have a date.
They sort of  have looked at places.

My mom has always said that I was a bridezilla.
I tend to disagree. ;)
My sister agrees with my mom.
To this I say Whatever!

My sister and I both have Pinterest boards for the purpose of saving wedding ideas.

My sisters board has 35 pins.
My board for her has 144 pins.

Ok so I may be a BridesMAIDzilla.

Some days I am so glad for link up parties...today is one of them.

I am in the middle of projects and don't have anything to share.

So today I will share my 10 favorite books.

These are in no particular order just book I love for one reason or another.

1.

 This book was given to me by a friend when we were struggling with infertility. It helped me to understand my feeling and also helped to understand that I was "crazy" and that my feelings were "normal." I still use some of the techniques and information in book to help me through troubling times in my life.

2.

Again, this book was great and really helped me when I was in a rough place in my life.

3.

I'm southern.

I love it

That's all.

4.

I liked this book the most.

But I really enjoy any of the Emily Giffin series.

5.

I teach preschool.

I read this book on the first day of school every year.

Its the sweetest book ever.



6.

I read this to my boys every night when they get into their big boy beds.

Anything by Sophie Kinsella

I love all of her books!

This was a great book.

I hated the ending, but really liked everything else.

I think its because of all the babysitting Ive done in my life.

My favorite kids book ever!

Just make sure if you ever read it you do the Spanish accents!

You wont be disappointed! ;)

At first I was opposed to reading this series.

I am not a series reader-

 I didn't read Twilight or Hunger Games

 (I KNOW THE HORROR)

but some friends of mine convinced me and

OMG, they are addictive.

Yes, they are racy and its HOT!

But its a real love story about a broken man and I was not able to but my kindle down.

Read the books!

Cutify a Chair

Today is a quick tutorial on how to cutify a chair in about 20 minutes start to finish!

First, you need a cute chair.

Mine was a $5 plastic chair from Wal Mart

bought for our many beach trip this summer.

Then I chose a design I liked on my Silhouette.

I didn't take pictures of this step b/c I think its self explanatory.

If you don't have a silhouette, ask some one who does, it takes NO TIME at all

and this is such a cute project.

The above vinyl is for a friends birthday gift!

Next step was to just place it on the chair and RUB!

and if you don't take forever choosing the perfect font for the name, like I do

it should take less than 20 minutes start to finish!
