Handmade Gift Exchange

I am sure that most of you know about the awesomeness that is the

The lovely Linda from

Craftaholics Anonymous

hosts a Handmade Gift Exchange for crafty people everywhere twice a year.
You make a handmade gift for another crafter with whom you are paired
and they make a handmade gift for another crafter they are paired with!
This is a great way to make a gift AND a friend!
There is no skill or money requirement, it is open to everyone!
This year she used ELFSTER! and it was so simple and easy!

Here are just a few pictures of what I made for my craft partner

(Now keep in mind that I was using my iphone b/c I was in the post office parking lot when I remembered I didn't take pictures!)
LOL

Here's a close up of the
"I love you because" frame-
My partner has two girls and I want to make one of these for my boys.
I think its a great way to brighten someones day before they leave for work or school!

I made this easy peasy T-shirt scarf.
Cut some t-shirts into strips
make rings
tie them together with extra scraps
ADORABLE
thank you to pinterest!

Now thanks to ELFSTER we were able to make a wish list where we chose things we would like
and added them to our list
My partner asked a bunch of questions and really got to know me because look at what I got

A "T" for Toups- our last name complete with purple & tiger print flowers!
and two makeup/anything goes bags in purple and tiger print

The bags even have the opposite print on the inside!

Love to my partner for awesome gifts!

Cant wait to the next craft exchange!
If you didn't get to sign up this time make sure you mark your calendar for the next sign up

  1. Wow! You're gifts are adorable! I've been meaning to make one of those scarves for forever :) Your partner really nailed what you love :) Can't think of LSU, without thinking of you.

Hope you're having a great day!

  3. Wow! I'm your 100 follower. :) Congrats that's a milestone. I like your yarn letter. I recently tried to make one of those and it was a disaster.
